About Me
I am constantly growing and learning and experimenting; I pride myself on being able to adapt and be flexible.
My name is Amber Lynn Riccinto, and I graduated from the University of Florida with a BS in journalism in 2014 with a specialization in photojournalism. Since then, I have worked as a photojournalist at several newspapers and currently work full-time as a commercial photographer. I enjoy yoga, am passionate about people and think there are few things more satisfying than drinking a well-made espresso macchiato while reading the newspaper.
The photographers whom I most admire are John Stanmeyer and Jeremy Cowart. I really appreciate their unique vision and perspective.
I am dedicated and determined, and I wish that to be reflected in all of my deeds and actions.
I have interned for the University of Florida Fine Arts College, the Gainesville Sun daily newspaper and have worked as a freelance photographer for WUFT News, the Ocala Star Banner and the Independent Florida Alligator. I also have served as the staff photographer at The Daily Commercial for the past two years.
